We started our commercial adventure in goats in 2012 in Martinsville, Indiana. Where we started with a Kiko and Boer doe with two kids each and my goat addiction was born!

You know the saying "You can't have just one"! That definitely applied to me. I was hooked, My two human kids loved the goats so much and so we added more. We quickly got into the 4-H circle and starting up new herds, so the name "Goats Galore Farm" says it all!

We had 7 different breeds of goats to offer; Boer, Kiko, Spanish for our meat breeders. And Pygmy's for fun mini backyard pets.

For our dairy breeders we had Nubian, Alpine and Nigerian Dwarfs.

My son and daughter love showing in 4-H and so we started producing goat kids for other 4-H kids goat projects.

Sadly, in 2013 we had a unknown cause of our barn fire on black Friday and lost 33 dam's with kids and a few that had not kidded yet, but where penned in our kidding stalls. We lost all of our hay supply for the winter and all shelters. We had to rush 10 doe's to our Vet that were severely burned and had smoke inhalation, Miraculously they all pulled through after weeks of consistent Vet care. Many Thanks to our Vet Mary that donated all their round the clock care to get them back home..They weren't pretty by no means but truly survivors!

The local news crew came out for a interview about our fire and tragic loss of our most of our goats and after that many people came to help with donations of hay and feed. We had to sell over 200 of our goats but kept a handful to be able to have shelter for them through the winter. But as the saying goes "what doesn't kill you, make's you stronger" The doe's that had to have sweatshirts and coats on to keep warm because they had barely any hair after the fire, pulled thru strong and that spring they kidded with healthy bouncy kids and their hair finally grew back. Yes, they had scars but that didn't stop them from being the great Dams they always had been and produced 4-H champions in IN,KY, IL and OH.

By 2015 we had made it back to 200 head of breeding doe's, and birthed over 150 kids per year.

Baby Goats Galore! And so many wonderful clients came to love our Farm, and will always be our friends no matter what State we live in.

In late 2016 we decided we wanted to move back to Montana where my husband and I were born and raised, So we made the hard decision and found home's for all of our breeding stock but my top 8 pregnant doe's that we couldn't part with came with us to Montana.

1 spotted Nubian- Diamond and 4 Alpines- Carmel, Cream, Fancy and Smokey. 1 Pygmy that was my son's main show doe- Peppermint. And 1 spotted Boer doe- Dottie.

And back to the Bitterroot Valley we came! We live in Corvallis, MT now which we have been slowly rebuilding our herd here and one day we will be back to 100's of kids a year again. But for now we are content with our growing herd of does and our full-blood Nubian and Nigerian Dwarf Sire's that give us loads of color and 4-H champions here every year in MT and also in WY in 2018. Below are a few picture's of our farm journey and my son and daughter in their 4-H shows in IN and MT and a couple fun goat pictures too. We hope you enjoyed getting to know us a bit and we hope you call on us for your next dairy goat, We are always happy to talk goats!
